ROCKVILLE, Md., September 7, 2026 — Novinway began providing in-home care on September 7, 2026, serving its founding families raising neurodivergent children and teens in Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia.
The launch follows foundational training for Novinway’s first 14 Care Specialists in August. Before a first visit, Novinway’s clinician builds a Family Care Plan with each family, and the matched Care Specialist is trained on that child’s routines, communication style, sensory needs and interests.
“After months of preparation, we get to do what we built this company for: help children feel comfortable and understood, and give parents care they can count on,” said co-founders Syd Pickard and Jeff Moeller.
Families can choose from two services, used together or on their own:
- Care Services: flexible in-home and community childcare. Families choose Monthly Care for a regular schedule or Flex Care for visits as needed.
- Navigation: practical guidance and hands-on help with whatever comes next, quoted by project before work begins.
