Montgomery County and the Baltimore area

Care that fits a Maryland family’s week.

Families use Novinway for after-school hours, full workdays, evenings out and time with another child. The same Care Specialist, or a small familiar team, learns how your child communicates and what helps them settle.

At home

Morning routines, after-school hours, dinner and bedtime, evenings out and overnight care while you’re away, following your child’s familiar routine and their Family Care Plan.

Out and about

School pickup, appointments and outings you approve, planned around your child’s interests, sensory needs and safety.

Beyond Montgomery County. We also have Care Specialists in and around Baltimore and can support families in Baltimore City and County, Howard and Prince George’s counties, and selected Anne Arundel communities. Matching depends on your location, schedule and fit.

How care starts.

Every family starts the same way, wherever you live. Care Specialists are our employees: background-checked, First Aid and CPR certified, trained in person and supervised by our clinical team.

  1. Free consultation

A conversation about your child, the hours you need and whether we’re a good fit.

  2. Family Care Intake

A $300 intake: a 60-minute call with you, an in-person assessment and a written Family Care Plan we develop with you.

  3. Matching and preparation

We match a Care Specialist to your child and schedule, then prepare them for your child before the first visit.

  4. A supervised start

A supervisor joins in person as care begins, for as many visits as needed. Supervision can return later, and ongoing clinician guidance continues throughout care.

After intake, choose Monthly Care at $40 an hour plus a $300 monthly membership for a regular schedule, or Flex Care at $50 an hour plus $100 per 90-day access period for visits as needed. Full pricing and cost calculator

Questions from Maryland families.

Which parts of Maryland do you serve?

Our strongest coverage is in Montgomery County, including Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Gaithersburg, Potomac, Rockville and Silver Spring. We also have Care Specialists in and around Baltimore and can support families in Baltimore City and County, Howard and Prince George’s counties, and selected Anne Arundel communities.

Do you provide in-home childcare in Bethesda?

Yes. Bethesda is part of our strongest coverage, along with Chevy Chase, Potomac, Rockville and Silver Spring. Care can cover after-school hours at home, school pickup and outings you approve, such as the carousel and children’s theater at nearby Glen Echo Park.

Can we use Montgomery County respite hours with Novinway?

Novinway is private pay and isn’t part of the county’s respite network. County-funded respite through The Arc Montgomery County is coordinated through its own providers, and its child packet says the hours can’t be used for regular, ongoing care or to let a parent regularly go to work. Many families use private care for work coverage and county respite for occasional breaks.

Do you accept the Autism Waiver or DDA funding?

No. Novinway does not bill Medicaid, the Autism Waiver, the DDA Community Pathways Waiver or another health payer. Navigation can help you apply for those programs and keep track of the process.

Can a Care Specialist pick my child up from school or an activity?

Yes. Care can include school pickup, appointments and outings you approve. We plan routes, timing and handoffs with you during intake.

How soon can care start?

It depends on your location, schedule and fit, because every assignment requires matching and child-specific preparation. If we can’t find a safe fit, we tell you plainly.
