Now accepting founding familiesLaunching September 2026

You've been doing the work of an entire team. It's time you had one working for you.

Raising a neurodivergent child can feel like two full-time jobs at once: caring for your child around the clock, and managing a fragmented system where no one seems to talk to each other. Novinway brings trusted, clinician-led care into your home and your community, and puts a navigator in your corner for the appointments, the programs, the waitlists, the IEP meetings, and everything else.

Serving families across DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Who we are

Not an agency. Not an app. Not therapy.

Traditional childcare isn't built for neurodivergent kids. The clinical side of their care has real support behind it, but everything else falls on the parents: how to get a break when it's so difficult to find someone you trust to watch your child, how to manage the paperwork and the providers, how to navigate a system that was never designed to make any of this easy.

Novinway was built to close that gap. We're a private-pay service for families raising neurodivergent kids, teens, and young adults, and we don't require a formal diagnosis to work with you. We offer specialized respite care built around your child, and System Navigation that lifts the administrative weight so you can focus on being the parent. Each service is available on its own, and together they cover both sides of a problem no one else puts under one roof.

What we do

Two services. Everything covered.

Respite Care

Your child's caregiver

Trained, neuroaffirming care for your child, at home and out in the community, from people who are here for the right reasons: students on clinical tracks, neurodivergent adults who know this world from the inside and serve as role models, and professionals like behavior technicians who love working with kids.

  • Clinician-led: Before the first visit, our clinician builds a Care Profile of your child, their routines, their sensory needs, and what helps them regulate, then trains your caregiver on it. You never have to explain your child from scratch.
  • Our own people: Every caregiver is our own W-2 employee, screened, vetted, and supervised. They're explicitly trained in elopement safety, alternative communication, and crisis de-escalation. Never a one-off sitter or an agency contractor.
  • Built around your child: As much or as little structure as you want. Stimming and unmasking are welcome. The goals are always yours.

What it looks like is babysitting. What's behind it is not.

System Navigation

Your family's navigator

Right now, you're the unpaid case manager: spending hours on hold with insurance, filling out redundant intake forms late at night, and trying to decipher evaluations while tracking invisible deadlines. We put a navigator in your corner who already knows how the system works—so you stop worrying you're missing something.

  • The whole picture: One person who knows the system, tracks your providers, waitlists, and IEP meetings, surfaces the programs and funding you qualify for, and stays ahead of every deadline.
  • Advice, or done for you: We help you think it through and decide your next step, or we take the work off your plate entirely: the calls, the applications, the scheduling.
  • Other families who get it: Private, curated introductions to other Novinway parents who've navigated what you're facing, made when they'd actually help. Not a forum to scroll.

Either way, the decisions are yours, and you're not doing it alone.

For the first time, you're not the only one holding it all together.

Our team

Meet some of our Care Specialists.

Alyssa
Alyssa
Care Specialist

Three summers leading inclusive outdoor programming for neurodivergent kids ages 5-10 at Pearlstone, where she gravitated toward the kids who didn't want to join the big group and let them have the space to do what they actually wanted. A trained Crisis Text Line counselor and Wilderness First Responder who researches autism acceptance at the University of Maryland.

“I’m drawn to providing care and play instead of therapy, building connections and fostering regulated emotions through encouraging stimming and unmasking.”
Jack
Jack
Care Specialist

A George Washington University chemistry student on a pre-PA track, with four years in a sports inclusion program where he developed one-on-one relationships with neurodivergent participants and adapted activities to individual sensory and skill needs. He founded GW's Pre-PA Society and brings the same instinct for building community to his work with children.

“There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. It depends on the person and the level of care they actually need. My goal is to meet each child exactly where they are.”
Sofia
Sofia
Care Specialist

A George Washington University graduate in Human Services and Social Justice, trained in crisis de-escalation through NAMI's teen and young adult helpline. She grew up alongside her best friend's neurodivergent brother and has spent years quietly advocating for kids whose needs were going unnoticed by the adults around them, building safe and supportive spaces in every environment she's worked in.

“Every neurodivergent person deserves the unique care that helps them feel supported and understood. I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful that can be.”
