Built by a team who saw the problem firsthand.

Novinway exists because the support neurodivergent families need didn't exist in one place. So we built it.

Why we started

Syd kept seeing the same thing.

After more than a decade working with neurodivergent children and their families, Syd saw the same pattern everywhere. Parents racing between therapy appointments and school pickups, spending their evenings coordinating providers and chasing paperwork instead of being with their kids, never taking a night off because there was no one they trusted to step in.

These weren't families who needed more clinical services. They needed someone to drive the kid to OT on Tuesday so mom could make it to a work meeting. They needed someone to take over the waitlists and the benefits applications and the transportation logistics that eat up entire days. They needed a Saturday night where they didn't have to explain their child's meltdown protocol to a stranger who might not come back.

The clinical side had options. The practical side - who watches your kid so you can work, who manages the logistics so you can breathe, who connects you to the right people when you need help navigating the system - had nothing.

Novinway exists because these families deserved a service built around them. So we built it.

Who we are

The people behind Novinway

Syd Pickard, Co-Founder and Chief Care Officer

Syd Pickard

Co-Founder & Chief Care Officer

Syd spent over a decade working with neurodivergent children and their families - from toddlers through teenagers, in clinics, homes, and the community. She trained at Kennedy Krieger Institute, one of the country's leading centers for autism and neurodevelopmental care, and is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.

At Novinway, she designs everything that touches your family. The training your caregiver receives, the Care Profile that prepares them before the first visit, the quality standards they're held to, and the ongoing oversight that keeps care consistent as your child grows and needs change - that's all Syd.

Jeff Moeller, Co-Founder and CEO

Jeff Moeller

Co-Founder & CEO

Jeff has led strategy and operations for over two decades - across the Marines, the intelligence community, and the federal government. He studied business at Georgetown University.

At Novinway, he built the operations from the ground up - the systems that keep scheduling reliable, backup coverage real, and every commitment to a family followed through. When the service just works when you need it, that's by design.

What we stand for

Our Values

Not patients. Not problems. Kids.

Your child isn't a case file. They're a person with things they love, things that frustrate them, and a way of moving through the world that's their own. Our caregivers receive neuroaffirming training designed around your child as they are.

Parents deserve to stop being the only one.

You shouldn't have to be the case manager, the scheduler, the advocate, the backup plan, and the parent all at once. Someone else should be carrying part of this. That's what we're here for.

Caregivers are professionals, and we treat them that way.

Direct employment. Above-market pay. Real training. Ongoing support. People stay and do good work when you invest in them. That's how families get caregivers who are consistent, competent, and committed to showing up.

If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.

Not every family needs what we offer. If another service would serve you better, we'll point you there. We'd rather help you find the right support than take on a family we're not built for.

Do the right thing.

We hold ourselves and our team to a high standard of personal and professional conduct. Our roots are in clinical ethics and military service, and we operate at the intersection of both.

We'd like to meet your family.

Every family's situation is different. Tell us about yours and we'll figure out what kind of support would be the right fit.
