A support team can still leave a gap in the afternoon.

Across nearly a decade working with neurodivergent children, Syd Pickard saw families who had clinicians, therapists and a school team, but still couldn’t find someone they trusted to cover an afternoon. Work, appointments and evenings out depended on a caregiver prepared for their child’s communication, routines and safety needs.

Syd and Jeff were already partners in life when they built Novinway. Syd brought direct work with children and families; Jeff brought two decades of military and federal leadership, experience building reliable systems and his own experience growing up with an Individualized Education Program (IEP). They built a company that employs its caregivers, prepares them for each child and stays involved throughout care, with practical guidance and hands-on help for whatever comes next.

Syd Pickard

Syd is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst. She worked at Kennedy Krieger Institute and spent nearly a decade directing behavioral programs and working directly with neurodivergent children, from toddlers through teenagers, with a focus on early autism intervention, caregiver training and complex pediatric needs.

At Novinway, she sets the standards Care Specialists train to and leads the clinical team that prepares them for each child and stays involved once care begins.

Jeff Moeller

Marine Corps veteran and Bronze Star recipient with two decades of leadership. Runs staffing, scheduling and daily operations.

Jeff grew up on an IEP for ADHD, so he knows the school system from the family side. He went on to serve in the Marine Corps, where he received the Bronze Star, and later in the intelligence community, for more than two decades of military and federal leadership.

At Novinway, he runs staffing, scheduling and operations with the same standard: clear responsibility, protected information and follow-through for every family.

Rebecca Blofstein

Parent of a neurodivergent child, with seven years at the Administration for Community Living. Leads Navigation, from figuring out the path to getting it done.

Rebecca knows the paperwork side of raising a neurodivergent child firsthand. As a military spouse and parent, she has worked through diagnoses, waitlists, providers, school transitions and four cross-country moves.

She spent seven years at the Administration for Community Living coordinating programs for people navigating complex government systems. At Novinway, she does that work alongside families.
