— Novinway, a family support company for families raising neurodivergent children and teens, has won first place and the Mark Silverman Award at Georgetown University’s 2026 Entrepreneurship in Health Challenge.

Novinway was founded by Syd Pickard, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who serves as Chief Clinical Officer, and Jeff Moeller, a Marine Corps veteran and Bronze Star recipient who serves as Chief Executive Officer. The company provides flexible in-home and community childcare delivered by trained Care Specialists and supervised by its clinical team, along with Navigation, practical guidance and hands-on help with whatever comes next.

“Families raising neurodivergent kids often have clinicians, therapists and a school team, and still no one they trust to look after their child for an afternoon,” said Pickard. “This recognition tells us the problem is real and that our approach to solving it is worth building.”

“We’re grateful to Georgetown and to the judges,” said Moeller. “The award gives us momentum as we prepare to welcome our first families this fall.”

Novinway plans to begin serving families in Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia in fall 2026.
