Care Services
I need someone I can trust with my child.

A new option for neurodivergent families
Our Care service starts before the first visit: we learn what matters for your child, prepare their caregivers, and back every visit with supervision and support. When you’re facing a new diagnosis, transition, or challenge, our Navigation service clarifies the options, builds the plan, and handles the follow-through.
Why Novinway exists
And the burden usually shows up in two places at once.
For families raising children with autism, ADHD, anxiety, or other differences, finding someone you trust for a few hours can be surprisingly hard. Work gets cut short. Plans get canceled. Appointments, rest, time with a partner, or time with another child all become harder to protect.
At the same time, the same parent is often acting as an unpaid case manager — juggling providers, school meetings, waitlists, records, forms, benefits, deadlines, and all the follow-up in between.
“I’m effectively a case manager in addition to having a full-time job and being a parent. It’s really challenging.”
A. — working mom of two, DC area
Novinway was built for both problems.Reliable childcare for your child. Real help carrying everything else.
Where to start
Care Services
For an evening out, a recurring break, an appointment, or the gap between school and the end of work.
After a new diagnosis, before a major transition, or when practical questions, appointments, applications and follow-up are taking over your week.
What changes
None of it is unusual. That’s the point. Every task is ordinary. There are forty of them, and they all land on the same person.
Right now — You’re the whole system.
Fictional example. What Novinway takes on is agreed with you and priced before work begins.
With Novinway — You’re a parent again.
What you can count on
Novinway employees — background checked, First Aid + CPR certified, and covered by commercial insurance.
The Care Specialist arriving for the visit knows your child’s communication, routines, preferences, and safety needs before they arrive.
Novinway handles supervision, scheduling changes, questions, and concerns. You are not managing a sitter on your own.
Our Care Specialists come from healthcare, psychology, public health, human services, inclusive recreation, crisis support, childcare, disability research, and direct work with neurodivergent children.
We select for judgment, warmth and reliability. The person has to be someone your child can enjoy being with — and someone you can trust when you leave.

Care Specialist
The person who notices the child hanging back — and goes to meet them there.
Three summers leading inclusive outdoor programming for neurodivergent kids ages 5–10 at Pearlstone, where she gravitated toward the kids who didn’t want to join the big group. A trained Crisis Text Line counselor and Wilderness First Responder who researches autism acceptance at the University of Maryland.
“I’m drawn to providing care and play instead of therapy, building connections and fostering regulated emotions through encouraging stimming and unmasking.”

Care Specialist
Four years learning how to make the activity fit the child — not the other way around.
A George Washington University chemistry student on a pre-PA track, with four years in a sports inclusion program adapting activities to individual sensory and skill needs. He founded GW’s Pre-PA Society and brings the same instinct for community to his work with children.
“There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. It depends on the person and the level of care they actually need. My goal is to meet each child exactly where they are.”

Care Specialist
Crisis-line trained, and calm in the moments that used to end the afternoon.
A George Washington University graduate in Human Services and Social Justice, trained in crisis de-escalation through NAMI’s teen and young adult helpline. She grew up alongside her best friend’s neurodivergent brother and has spent years advocating for kids whose needs were going unnoticed.
“Every neurodivergent person deserves the unique care that helps them feel supported and understood. I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful that can be.”
Pricing
No “contact us for pricing.” Standard rates and fees are published, with a Care cost calculator. Custom work is priced before it begins.
